My best friend in life went home to be with my Grandparents in her heavenly mansion. My heart has a hole in it. For 15 years it was mainly my Momma & I. I always knew no matter what my Mom was there. No matter how much my selfish heart wanted her to stay I am happy knowing that she’s with her parents, smiling and hugging them, dancing and laughing, singing and smiling down on those of us that are hurting and missing her. Her mind is whole again and her body no longer hurts and aches. In fact my Momma is probably cruising heavens streets with her bestie Shorty jamming to a lot of live bands. Shoot! Who wouldn’t? I mean Buddy Holly, and Elvis?!? Come on? Who doesn’t know them? My momma loved her music, she passed that on to me. I will forever remember all our road trips to Tucumcari singing all her favorites. One of my favorite memories is when I was about 10 and she took me to see Elvis in Amarillo-LIVE! I will never forget it!
I love you Momma! Hold it down up there and make a list of all those bands you loved for us to go see when I join you one day! Hug Grandma and Grandpa tight for me! I will see you guys one day! Until then shower us with love from above.
