She was born January 17, 1950 in Cleburne Texas to George and Ela Mae Welch.
Linda grew up in Wichita Falls and Amarillo Texas with two years in Los Alamas New Mexico. She graduated from Palo Dura High School where she was in the band and also a twirler. Linda loved to go to Red River and Taos New Mexico. She worked at Pantex in Amarillo for over 20 years as a clerk.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son Martin Shane Ray. Linda is survived by her sister Charlotte Welch of Amarillo, one Aunt June Jones of Altus Oklahoma, and many cousins, great- cousins, great-great cousins, and many friends. Linda will be missed by both friends and family.
Memorial Service for Linda will be scheduled at a later date.
