

Our beloved mother, Lottie Viola Clark passed away peacefully at 95 and her spirit returned to her heavenly father, on the afternoon of February 10, 2017. She died as she had lived, her way and on her own terms. She was born on November 14, 1921 to George Washington and Mary Jane Diffey. She married Harold Lee Clark “H.L.” on April 22, 1939. She was a housewife and mother of five children. She was spoiled and pampered everyday by her beloved husband H.L. She was the eldest of seven children and she outlived all of them including H.L.’s family except for her favorite sister in law Cleo Ikner. She lost H.L. in 1993, a beloved grandson Chris Nichols in 1986 and a great grandson Nicholas Sinclair in 2005. She is survived by five children and their spouses; Lynn Kimmins and husband Rick, Carolyn Gummelt and husband Tommy, Shirley Elton and husband Jerry, Janet Clark, Sonny Clark and wife Shirley; Grandchildren, Brian Kimmins, Deon Johnson and wife Cissy, Richard Kimmins, Misty Sinclair and husband Steven, Kim Thompson and husband Lynn, Lori Kimmins, Leslie Lane and husband Jeff, Kyle Clark, Ambra Moore and husband Crockett, Teal Clark and Fiancé Michael Baker, and 13 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. on Tuesday February 14, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. February 15, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery where she will be buried beside her beloved H.L. as she requested. Her nephew Pastor Jimmy Ikner will officiate as she wished. Her children have honored every wish their beloved mother wanted.
The family would like to thank BSA Hospice of the Southwest for the love and care “Miss Lottie” received there, we can never thank them enough. The family will be at 1300 E. FM 1151, the old Claude Highway.
