Lottie Mae Oakley, 85 of Amarillo passed away May 7, 2013. Graveside services will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Fairmont Cemetery in Follett by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell. Viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors. Lottie was born March 30, 1928 in Follett to Arno and Mary Haines. She married Warren Ray Oakley in June of 1947 in Kansas. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother and she will be greatly missed. Lottie is survived by her husband, Warren Ray Oakley of Amarillo; children, Janice Oakley of Amarillo, Don Oakley and wife Liz of Mesa, Arizona and Bryan Oakley of Chicago, Illinois; brother, Gene Haines of San Antonio; sister, Cora Jane Luck of Denver City, Texas; grandchildren, Jonathan Oakley of Alta Mesa, California and Jocelyn Moon of Seattle, Washington; great-grandchildren, Aria Oakley and Grayson Corliss; also by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
