Lowell “Tom” Furrh Sr., 84 of Amarillo passed away December 5, 2015. Funeral services will be Wednesday December 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Tom was born May 20, 1931 to Wilburn and Ollie Mae Furrh in West Point, Texas. Tom loved to bowl and watch the Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR. In 1991 he retired as a carpenter after 30 plus years. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilburn Bennton and Ollie Mae Furrh, sisters Opel Smith, Jackie Ray and Mona Keese and brothers Benton Furrh. He is survived by his sons Eddie Furrh and wife Renee, Lowell Furrh Jr and wife Cathy, and daughters Ann Marie Southworth Amon and Shela Plaster, brothers Bill Furrh and Buddy J Furrh and sisters Virginia Bankston, 6 grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
