She was born April 27, 1936 in Long Beach, California to Valton and Lucy Farber.
Lucy married Lonnie Y. Prosser on January 23, 1951 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They moved to Amarillo, Texas in October 1968 after Lonnie retired from Marine Corps. She worked at Bell Helicopter and Comfort Inn, retiring in 1988. Lucy was a long time member of North Amarillo Church of Christ, she loved and served the Lord. She truly loved her church family and they loved her. Lucy enjoyed working outside and just sitting outside enjoying every moment, as well as visiting with family. She enjoyed crocheting and was an animal lover of all kinds. Her 5 dogs were very special to her, and she would always feed wild birds. Lucy loved her family dearly, and they loved her.
She is survived by her sons; Lonnie J. Prosser and wife Susan, Larry Prosser and wife Amanda, daughters; Marie Kemph and husband Monte, Donna Hall and husband Art, and Dorothy Delgado, 30 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Lucy is preceded in death by her loving husband; Lonnie Prosser passing 9-14-2009, Father; Valton D. Farber passing in 1995, and Mother; Lucy Mae Farber in 2002. She will be missed by both her family and friends.
