Maggie’s 9 brothers and sisters were a constant in her life with countless stories of the Sangster family’s adventures which she loved to share. Maggie married I.G. Barrett on November 16, 1949 and began her life as a homemaker. Maggie and I.G. moved to the West Coast when I.G. served in the United States Navy. Maggie lived at the Craig Senior Living Retirement Village her last years and enjoyed her time and friends there immensely. In between there were countless homemade meals, pies, and cakes. Mom could make a bed so fast and tight it would make a Boot Camp Sergeant envious.
