Margaret Skinner

Margaret Ann Skinner, 67, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on November 5, 2011. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011, 5:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Canyon, Texas with Revs. Rick Enns and Manish Shirley officiating.

Margaret was born May 27, 1944 in Lubbock, Texas. She attended both Amarillo College and West Texas A & M University. She supported the musical community throughout the Panhandle area. Margaret was an organist and pianist who accompanied many musicians and students. Her first love was the pipe organ and she played at numerous Panhandle churches. Closely following her musical passion was her devoted love for her family, strong friendships, along with stitching intricate needlework.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Music Ministry at First United Methodist Church at 1818 4th Ave Canyon, Texas 79015.
