Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 2 PM at Washington Ave. Christian Church. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home.
She was born in Amarillo, TX on February 10, 1932 to John and Ginevra Sullivan.
She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1950. After high school she married and had 4 children, Jan Brazeal, Larry (Emily) Singleton, Garry (Mel) Singleton and Phillip Singleton, all of Amarillo.
Margie loved the Lord and was the last charter member of Washington Ave. Christian Church. She was very involved in many areas of the church and loved music and singing in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, LD Singleton and Kenneth Gabehart, sister Louise Drumheller of Texas and brothers Norman Sullivan and Joe Sullivan, both of Colorado.
Margie loved her family and spent her life caring for them. She is survived by 4 children-Jan, Larry, Garry and Phillip, 6 grandchildren, Heather Dixon, Heath Richmond, Shelly Singleton, Brian Singleton and wife Savannah, Cherie Scholz and husband Tyson, and Tori Dunn and husband Corey. In addition, there are 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Kathleen Poteet of Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
