Marguerite was born on October 26, 1918 she was the daughter of D.A. and Olga Morris. She lived in Canadian, Texas where she graduated from Canadian High School. In 1955 she and her family moved to Amarillo. She was a long time member of St. Paul Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by many. Marguerite leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and a good sense of humor.
She is preceded in death by her parents: husband David Huyck; 3 brothers Aaron Morris; D.A. Morris; and Harry Morris; Sister Patricia McDaniel.
She is survived by her Son Ronald Huyck and wife Christa of Amarillo; Two daughters Sue Rutherford and husband Warren of Puyallup Washington and Linda Tyler of Amarillo. Grandchildren; Thomas Huyck and wife Karen of Greenville, South Carolina; Kevin Huyck of Amarillo; Ty Rutherford and wife Trisha of Edgewood, Washington; Tawna Gogolin and husband Matt of Lake Tapps, Washington; Tara Simpson and husband Matt of Amarillo; Toby Tyler of Amarillo. Twelve great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
