have a memory or condolence to add?

Marc Garrison

The Garrison family is so saddened to hear of the passing of such a great guy. Mark will be missed by many. As a neighbor, a friend, and a co-worker of Mark's, my fondest memories of him involve our time on the water together. Weather it be slalom skiing on the San Bernard river, offshore fishing, or rescuing him on the river when his boat broke down we had some good times together. I am so sorry that he is no longer with us and we wish the entire Blake family our condolences.

Your family remains in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with at Sweeny during his time at Sweeny.

Mark was always looking for goodness in people and situation with a positive caring attitude.

He will be missed by all.

Mark was a really great guy to work with. I first met him when he came to work at Sweeny Refinery. We worked for Rick Mendler at the time. Mark went over to the ChevronPhillips after the company split into two, ConocoPhillips and ChevronPhillips. Mark was so easy going and an all around good guy. He will be missed by all who worked with him. Rest In Peace Brother, Eran & Kelly Jones

Mark was my brother in law and a friend. I will miss him and treasure many good memories including spending time with him recently at the Blake family cabin in South Fork, CO. Mark, Mike and I were grieving over the loss of their mom and a woman who was more of a mother to me than a mother in law. To lighten the mood we started watching some of our favorite movies and I will never forget how much Mark loved the movie Tombstone starring Kurt Russell. I will miss him.

I worked with Mark for many years at the Sweeny plant. We had a close knot engineering group and that extended to our personal lives as well.
Mark was a great guy that always had a big smile. He loved being an engineer. We shared an appreciation of nice watches. I have fond memories of him, Christmas parties, softball games and general plant chiding.
My sincere condolences and I pray the family finds peace.

Some of my earliest memories are going over to their house as very little girl tagging along with my brothers. We are all praying for Mark's family during this challenging time of heartache. May the Lord comfort them all.

May the Father of Mercies and God of all Comfort, comfort you in this season. Late last November 2019, I had an opportunity to pray with Mr. Blake at my church. Though he was going through, he exhibited a belief in God, that he'd get through. My prayers are with you and the family! The bible says, Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning! Be sure to joy in the loving memories you shared with Mr. Blake!
