

Marshall W. Hardin, 82 of Amarillo passed away June 17, 2015. Private family interment was held at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Pastor Dee Slocum of Adrian Baptist Church officiating. Marshall Hardin was born September 29, 1932 in Patterson, Arkansas to Ralph and Gracie Hardin. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of “You and I” Sunday School class at First Christian Church. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; one sister and three great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce Hardin of Amarillo; daughters, Fara Williams and husband Larry and Lawanda Hardin both of Amarillo and Barbara Butler and husband Jamie of Norman, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Brodie Butler and wife Jennifer, Ben Williams, Sky Butler, Lindsey Kimble and husband Joshua, Torey Hafner, Samantha Rodgers and Tanner Rodgers and wife Karisa; also by five great-grandchildren, Zoey, Melody, Jesse, Kade and Killes. The family suggest memorials be sent to Station 12 Firehouse c/o Fire Administration, 310 S. Van Buren, Amarillo, Texas 79101.
