Mary E. Burton

October 29, 1925December 27, 2017

Mary Elizabeth Palmer Burton was born in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was raised in Oklahoma with seven siblings. She enjoyed sharing stories with her family about times she picked cotton and doing other farming chores with her siblings. She liked to crochet. Mary was a kind loving woman who always put other’s needs above her own. She made her home in California for many years until her mother became ill and she moved to Amarillo to take care of her. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Rose Bowen, sons Willie Franklin Burton and Roger Dale Burton. Nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
