May was born April 7, 1928, in Samnorwood to B.F. and Lolor Ettie Nixon. She married Johnnie A. White in Amarillo. He preceded her in death in 1987.
May loved to play games, including dominoes and Skip-bo. She really enjoyed playing with her friends and family, especially her great-grandson. May was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother and she will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie A. White; her parents; three sons, Larry, David and Michael Eastman; and a daughter, Susan R. Lawrance.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Don Eastman of Amarillo; her granddaughters, Anntoinette, Brittany, Ashley and Alex Lawrance; a grandson, Jason Lawrance; a nephew, Raymond Harvey; her best friend of many years, Margaret Acklin; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
