Nelda Jean was born on December 26, 1953, in Lockney, Texas, to Raymond Arlee Williams and Nell Harrison. She was a longtime client of ADVO for over 20 years. Nelda Jean was a very loving daughter, sister, and aunt, and she was full of absolute joy and happiness. Nelda Jean loved to play her harmonica. She didn’t care to watch TV, but could always be found listening to the soulful sounds of all of her favorite music. Nelda Jean also loved her jewelry, money, and the wallet she carried her money in. She was especially fond of spending holidays with her family. Her favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Easter, because she got to enjoy eating all of her favorite foods, which included ham, macaroni and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Nelda Jean truly never met a stranger and she had such a sweet childlike innocence.
Nelda Jean was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to cherish her precious memory are her sister, Lynn Willert and husband, Mike, of Canyon, Texas; Her two brothers, Ray Williams, and spouse, Toni, of Amarillo, and Dennis Williams, of Amarillo; Her niece and caregiver, Tracy Brewer, of Amarillo; numerous other nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends who loved her very much. Nelda Jean will be missed by all who knew her.
