Neva Jane Winkler

Neva married the love of her life, Max, on November 1, 1985.

She worked for Pioneer/ Energas/ Atmos for 35 years. Neva’s work family was

very important to her and even after retiring they all stayed very close and

celebrated together. Each co-worker was a friend and quickly became family.

Neva was always ready for an adventure and always had Max on his toes during

their travels. She loved Alaskan cruises with her entire family. She enjoyed visits to

Las Vegas riding roller coasters with Marcus and hitting the machines. Six Flags and

Disney World with her grandchildren and great grandchildren was another

enjoyment for her. Neva was always ready to ride any roller coaster and try

anything new. Adventures with Neva and her siblings were always 100% exciting

and hysterical with laughter with a little embarrassment mixed in.

Neva had the biggest heart and loved everyone and touched so many lives.

Everyone says they have the best mom in the world – but without a doubt she was

the best mom, MeMaw, Granny Neva, and great grandmother in the world to each of

us and many others. She was our best friend, our confidant, our loudest supporter,

our brave guardian, best hugs ever, and always a prayer warrior for our dreams to

come true. “I love you” was always followed by “I love you more”.

Christmas Eve gift was a family tradition. The first person to say "Christmas Eve

Gift " was to receive a gift. Even though no one got gifts. There were a lot of

laughs and griping.

She is preceded in death by her parents Travis and Allie Brown

and 8 siblings: Vaudrey, Audrey, Rita, Norma, Ann, Johnny, Carolyn, Cheryl and son

Jared Winkler.

She is survived by her Husband Max Winkler, Children; Denise and husband Mike,

Trina and husband Gregg; Johnny and wife Donna, Connie and husband Matt,

16 Grandchildren; Marcus and wife Julie, Emily, Kelsi Brinson, Michael and wife Natalie,

John David, Brinton, Ariel, Heather, Amanda and husband Gary, plus 7 other Grandchildren

as well, 4 Great Grandchildren; Kadyn, Kambri, Kynlee , and Leah.
