

He was born August 21, 1924 in Marlow Oklahoma to William and Carrie Fox.
O.B. Fox, a proud veteran of the Army Air Force, passed away on August 21, 2021.
The son of William Calvin Fox and Carrie McClanahan Fox, O. B. grew up in Marlow, Oklahoma. He joined the Army in 1943 at Fort Sill Oklahoma; and, after completing training, was assigned to the 738 Bombardment Squadron and was deployed to Italy. O.B. was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, and returned stateside in 1945, shortly before the war ended.
O.B. met the love of his life, Ruby Pearline Wilson, in Duncan, Oklahoma. They were married on June 23, 1947, and they spent their life traveling throughout the United States with their son and family. O.B. was an avid gardener who enjoyed the more simple things in life. A lover of all things sweet, O.B. could always be found, or not be found, on a mission to satisfy his sweet tooth. He brought great joy and smiles to all who he loved, and he is greatly missed.
O.B. was preceded in death by his loving wife Ruby Fox, and his only son William Stephen Fox. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Chris Fox, granddaughter Sarah Rackley, grandson Joseph Fox, great-granddaughter Abelyse Rackley, Cheryl Upchurch, and extended family, friends and caretakers.
