Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Robert Field officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Olena was born Jan. 18, 1931, in Cloud Chief, Okla. She married Jack Liles on Feb. 19, 1949.
Olena was involved in the founding of the first school for the mentally challenged on Louisiana Street in 1959.
Olena loved to cook; she was the food service director for the Children's Learning Center for several years. Her passions were her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 2008; and a daughter, Trena, in 2005.
Survivors include two sons, Teddy Liles and wife Becky and Scott Liles and wife Donna, all of Amarillo; a daughter, Gloria Tindol of Amarillo; a brother, Joe Wilkerson and wife Cindy of Amarillo; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
