

Orvial “Juno” Frank Holt Jr., 66, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on September 3, 2025. He was born on November 9, 1958, in Amarillo to Orvial and Hazel Holt. A proud graduate of Palo Duro High School, Orvial went on to serve in various roles in his community, most notably as a dedicated entrepreneur and family man. He began his career at the police academy, but it was his work alongside his father in the towing business that marked the beginning of his long career in business. After selling Amarillo Towing, he focused on growing H and H Salvage, retiring after 40 years of hard work and dedication to his companies.
Orvial was a man of many passions. He was an avid pool player, a professional poker player, and a real estate mogul. A lover of sports, he coached countless children in basketball and football, leaving a lasting impact on many young lives. His love for adventure and freedom was evident in his passion for riding his Harley-Davidson.
Orvial is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Holt; sons Seth Holt and Adam Best; daughters Kristal Reese, Aimee Jones, Julie Jernigan, and Asia Best; 21 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, Orvial and Hazel Holt, and his sister Sherry Rungvist.
