Pauline was born October 12, 1936, in San Antonio. After the death of her birth parents in 1944, she was lovingly raised by her grandmother. She met the love of her life, David Perez, Sr., and they were married March 24, 1950. Pauline and David raised six children together. A devoted wife and mother, Pauline was a hard worker, the glue of the family, and delighted in time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A faithful Christian, she attended Assembly of God with Pastor Veazy in Amarillo and Bethel Assembly in Post, TX. When she was visiting. She was also well known for her fondness for Burger King. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her son Paul Bradley Perez and wife Niki; daughters Paula Hernandez and Sarah Jane Rivera and husband George; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband David Perez, Sr.; children David Perez, Jr., Abraham Perez, and Jackie Vera; son in law Jaime Hernandez; brothers Tony Rodriguez and Paul Rodriguez; and sisters Martha Eureste and Patsy Resendez.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Pioneer Chapel, 6969 I-40 East, Amarillo, TX 79118, on August 4, 2026, beginning at 5:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will take place at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Chapel Of Memories, 6969 I-40 East, Amarillo, TX 79118, on August 5, 2026, beginning at 10:00 am. A Graveside Service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6969 I-40 East, Amarillo, TX 79118, on August 5, 2026.
Pallbearers will be Georgie Rivera, Josiah Tijerina, Jamie Hernandez, Ezekiel Perez, Javen Perez, and Joseph Frausto. Honorary pallbearers will be Mathew Lopez, Lil G Rivera, and Riley Jo Hernandez.
