Phyllis Haynes Pylant was born on the 4th of July, 1936, in Borger, Tx to John and Rose Haynes. She had nine brothers and sisters, including a twin brother, Phil. Phyllis Haynes married Alfred Pylant on December 19, 1954 in Amarillo, Texas. Alfred and Phyllis raised their three children Dana, Judy, and David in Amarillo, before relocating to Tyler, Texas to enjoy their retirement. They were faithful members of Olsen Park Church of Christ (Amarillo) and Rice Road Church of Christ (Tyler). She was a faithful wife, caring mother, doting grandmother, and loving great grandmother to those in her family and those who needed a family.
Preceded in death by her her husband Alfred, her son David, and her siblings William Haynes, Audrey “Fern” Haynes Gee, Dorothy Haynes Karlin, Jimmy Kate Haynes Reep, James Haynes, Phil Haynes, Betty Haynes Stanley Pierce, Kenneth Haynes, and Jo Beth Haynes Haynie-Flaten. Survived by her daughters Dana (Tom) and Judy (Fred), seven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren
