He was born on June 19, 1975, in Mexico to Jose and Ramona Villalobos-Diaz. From a young age, Ramon was known for his friendly spirit and joyful personality. He loved making people laugh and was always full of jokes. Charismatic and kind, he had a way of making everyone feel welcome—there were no strangers in his world. Known affectionately as “El Raton,” Ramon could light up any room with his smile and laughter. Ramon was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Maribel Iniguez Padilla, and a proud father to his children, Mateo Villalobos, Ramon Villalobos Jr., and Ximena Villalobos. His family meant everything to him, and he showed his love through his warmth, humor, and constant presence. He cherished simple joys in life—spending time in nature, shopping, going to the movies, and especially dancing. One of his greatest joys was teaching his wife Maribel how to dance. He also shared a very special bond with his sister Olivia (“Nena”), with whom he spoke every day, day and night. Their connection was unbreakable, and he once said he would not marry if she could not be at his wedding. Ramon loved tacos and chocolate, and he carried a happiness that was contagious. He will be remembered for his laughter, his big heart, and the way he made everyone around him smile.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maribel Iniguez Padilla; his children, Mateo Villalobos, Ramon Villalobos Jr., and Ximena Villalobos; his brothers, Juan, Jose, Manuel, and Francisco Villalobos; and his sisters, Sara, Maria, and Olivia Villalobos.
Ramon was preceded in death by his father, Jose Villalobos-Diaz (September 2, 2023); his mother, Ramona Diaz (December 8, 1990); and his siblings Angel Villalobos (November 2019), Carmen Villalobos (April 30, 2017), Martin Villalobos (May 17, 2019), and Salvador Villalobos (January 30, 2025).
Ramon’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in all who knew him.
