Richard C Brock

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Services will be Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 3pm in the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Doug Ghem presiding.

Richard was born May 20, 1936 to Edward and Mary Brock in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He married Shirley in January of 1959 and together they raised three wonderful children. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper. He was a Lab Tech with Franklin Laboratories for 30 years. He spent the 10 years following retirement with The Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Correctional Officer. He was an amazing artist, painter, sculptor, and father.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Mary Brock, and his wife of 57 years Shirley. His survivors include his sons Wade Brock and wife Jody of Strasburg, Ohio, and Dan Brock and wife Lisa of Ft. Worth, Texas; daughter Donna Craven and husband Mark of Fritch, Texas; brother Samuel Brock and wife Sharon of Albuquerque, New Mexico; seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
