Richard Noel Buie

A celebration of life memorial service will be held Tuesday November 6th at 10:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church 5005 I- 40 West Amarillo, TX 79106 with Reverend Brian Hesse presiding.

Richard was born January 13th, 1950 in Oklahoma City, OK to Noel and Madge (McClesky) Buie. He graduated from Newcastle High School in 1968. He was a Army veteran and served in Vietnam.On October 23, 1971 he married Cathy Goff in Amarillo, TX. Richard was part owner of Jim Goff and Sons Construction Co.for over 30 years. He retired 2 years ago. He loved spending time with his family, especially his 3 grandkids. He enjoyed working in the yard and with his wife in their garden. He also enjoyed telling a story and maybe a tall tale or two.

Richard is survived by his wife Cathy of Amarillo, TX. ,his two sons James and his wife Staci of Lazbuddie, TX., Jason and his wife Kim of Crawford, TX.,and his three grandkids, Jonah, Elias, and Madelyn. He was

preceded in death by his parents Noel and Madge.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Trinity Lutheran Woodlands, 2400 North Coulter Amarillo, TX 79124.
