

Robert was a true cowboy in his early years, working on ranches from California to Texas. He was also a very skilled truck driver, as well as, a "jack-of-all-trades." He worked hard at every job he chose to do and was liked by many people. His wife and kids loved him, and it was a special day when he pulled into the yard after being on the road. He retired from trucking around 2001, and was a true friend to all.
Robert gave his life to the Lord when he was 65 years old, and was baptized in Lake Meredith. The family moved to Canyon in 2001.
Robert was married to his wife Betty Dickey for 57 years, and they were blessed with three sons and two daughters. He was the last of his line, and there will never be another like him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 18 brothers and sisters; and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Ogden of Canyon; three sons, Bill Ogden and wife Deborah and Karson Ogden and wife Jessie, all of Amarillo, and Wade Ogden and wife Margaret of Canyon; two daughters, Bonnie Roberts and husband Eddie of Canyon and Kathy Blinkenstaff and husband Ron of Nampa, Idaho; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren
