Roland Lee Harrison 58 of Amarillo passed away Friday, February 18, 2011. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Griggs-Schooler Gordon Pioneer Chapel with Pastor Jerry Davey officiating.
Roland was born December 26, 1952 in Abilene, Texas. Roland Graduated from Anson High School and worked his way through college as a roughneck in the Oil Field. He Graduated from the University of Texas with a Degree in Geology. He worked for Waukesha-Pearce for many years and took pride in his work as a successful Salesman. He had a passion for riding and maintaining motorcycles, particularly BMW`s. Roland lived all over the state but considered Amarillo his home. He and his Wife Margaret were married for 25 Years, and had a true love for his Boston Terriers.
