

Shirley Hollowell was born June 7, 1945 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She is the middle daughter of Irene and Fred Jones. She grew up primarily in Pampa, Texas even though they moved often with Fred’s job as a welder. She met Bobby Hollowell on July 4, 1962 and knew he was the other half of her heart. They married December 31, 1962. They lived and worked on area ranches where he was a cowboy and she was a homemaker and a ranch cook. For the next 45 years they lived happily ever after until his death in November of 2007.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bob, and her younger sister Judy Goeff.
She is survived by: Her sister – Hazel Scarcello of Mountain Center, California Son - Johnny Hollowell and Melva of Fritch: Grandson - Dustin Hollowell and wife Renee (great-grand children-Josephine and Kenneth), Granddaughter - Ashley Martinez and husband Mike,(great grandson Mikey) Grandson - Shane Hollowell. Son-Billy Hollowell and wife Angela of Booker Texas - Granddaughter Hali Hutchens and husband Dex (great-grand children - Blayke, Cooper, Zayden and Carsyn); Granddaughter- Holly Stevenson and husband Cedar (great grandchildren – Rainey, Grant and Sterling); Grandson- Weston Hollowell; Granddaughters Sarah Hollowell, and Julia Hollowell. Grandsons-Donovan Ramirez, Sol Ramirez, Valentine Ramirez; Chris Enriquez; Jose Hernandez (great-granddaughter Emma). Daughter Lisa Jones of south Texas, Grandson Cody of Hereford, Texas.
She is also survived by lots of nieces and nephews and many more who called her Memaw with love. She will be remembered as an amazing friend, mom, and grandma to everyone she met. She enjoyed cooking and doing for others and she was good at it! She loved the Lord. Now she is with the love of her life, and while we miss her, we are over joyed for her.
