Yiu Shu Lau, 83, died Wednesday Nov. 27, 2019 in Amarillo, Texas. A memorial service will be held from 1:00 to 3:00pm December 7 at the Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6969 East Interstate 40, Amarillo, TX 79118.
Yiu was born in the Guangdong province in China and married Ling in 1956. Yiu last worked with his wife, Ling, his daughter, Rita, and son-in-law, Jack, operating the China Inn Restaurant for 10 years until 1994. He enjoyed fishing, mahjong, and seeing his large family, including five children, 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Yiu is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter.
He is survived by his wife, Ling, three daughters (Rita, Christine and Rebecca), two sons (Ming and Steve), 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
