Sondra K. Gleisner

Sondra Kaye Gleisner 69, of Amarillo passed away March 12, 2023. Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 10 AM at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. She was born in Portales, New Mexico to Claude and MaryAnne Brummett. She was raised in Clovis, New Mexico. She was more commonly known as Sandy, but most affectionately known as Granny. Sandy loved her family with her entire being and loved life. She loved to laugh and loved making others smile even more. Her family was her whole world, she had a nickname for everyone regardless of family or friend. She attended Amarillo College and received her RN. She worked at BSA and with home health care for many years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in her name to Breast Cancer Foundation. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her children: Stoney Gleisner and wife Karen and Danette Vance. Brother Curtis Brummett; grandchildren Drew Gleisner and wife Jennifer; Gunnar Vance, Ashlyn Ford, Mattie Ford, Noah Gleisner, O’rion Vance, Kloe Gleisner, Dustin Vance and Brandon Vance. One great Grandchild Harper Vance along with many other loving family members and friends she loved like family.
