Memorial service will be Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Amarillo with Reverend Dr. Clay J. Brown officiating for family and friends to pay their respects.
Stella Jo Blackwell left this earth on September 15, 2015. Stella was born in Ohio but spent most of her life in Texas and later in California. A die-hard Cowboys and USC Trojans football fan, but nothing gave Stella as much pleasure as being with her family.
Stella is survived by a son, Stan Matuza; a daughter, Shawn Blackwell; four grandchildren, Mathew, Kathryn, Laurel and David; and a great-grandson, Morgan; a younger brother, Ed Moseley, Jr., who lives in Georgia with two of Stella’s nieces and nephews, with whom she remained very close..
Stella is preceded in death by her dear mother, Kathryn; a sister and a brother.
