She was a loving and kind mother, grandma, and friend and will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday August 29, 2026 at First Presbyterian Church.
Theresa O’Donald was born on May 4, 1952 in Muleshoe to Jimmie
and Tink Seaton. She graduated from Lazbuddie High School in 1970 and later went on to get her Bachelor’s degree in Education from West Texas State University. She taught at Eastridge Elementary school for 23 years before retiring to be a full-time Grandma. In 1975, she married Daniel O’Donald, and they
together raised two wonderful girls, Melissa and Kimberly.
Theresa had a unique gift of making every person she encountered feel cherished and known, fiercely protecting and championing those who were fortunate enough to be loved by her. She
never encountered a problem she could not solve, whether it be sewing up the holes in all her family’s clothes, fixing up things around the house, or navigating the stock market. She loved
music, games, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. Theresa loved the Lord and His word and spent her life working to know Him and make Him known.
Theresa is preceded in death by her husband, Danny O’Donald; her sister, Charlotte Redwine; and her parents, Jimmie and Tink Seaton.
Theresa is survived by her brothers, Jimmie Dale and Rick (Mandi) Seaton; her two daughters, Melissa Hopkins (Cullen) and Kimberly Anderson (John); her five grandchildren, Jaci, Sara, Aidan, Abby and Logan and many nieces and nephews.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 “
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all
who eagerly look forward to his appearing.”
If you wish to honor Theresa’s memory, the family asks that any donations be made to First Presbyterian Church Amarillo
