Graveside services at 3:00 PM on Tuesday September 24, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jim Gose officiating, under the direction of Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Visitation is from 5-7pm Monday evening at the funeral home.

INTERMENT: Memorial Park Cemetery

Vera was born May 20, 1922 in the Cypress Valley community to Charlie and Ethel Flake Frazier near Vilonia, Ark. In 1941 she worked at a munitions plant in Jacksonville, Ark. Vera married Voyne “Arkie” Harlan August 21, 1943. They left farming in 1949 and came to Amarillo. .

She is survived by her husband, Voyne Harlan, 2 sons, Charles Harlan and wife Jane of Amarillo and Tom Harlan and wife Lora of Clovis, NM; 2 sister-in-laws, Betty Ray and Jola Mullins and husband Faber both of Conway, Ark; 4 grandchildren, Jana VanderTook and husband Pat, Brent Harlan and wife Jacquie, Kristi Davis and husband Chad, and Brian Harlan; 2 great grandchildren, Chance and Sydney Harlan and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 8 siblings
