Viola Brohlin

Viola became a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in 1948. Her Lord and her family were very important to her. She married the love of her life Paul Brohlin on March 23, 1941. They were married for 54 years. Her children and grandchildren were the twinkle in her eye. She enjoyed reading, painting, classical music and going to bible study. She was a member of the Lady’s Day Guild, Bethesda Good Samaritan, Lutherans Women’s Missionary League, Social Ministry and the Red Hat Society. She was a Brownie and a Girl Scout Troop leader as well as a Boy Scout leader. Viola was a very special lady and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Brohlin; Son David Paul Brohlin; parents Samuel and Essie Walker; brother Col. Sam Walker; sister Lena Mae Walker; step brother Bill Kelly.

She is survived by her children Pauletta Johnson; Billie Bob Brohlin and wife Beverly; Sherrye Gugenheim and husband Paul; Freda Deann”Dede” Darrough and husband Jack; daughter-in-law Linda Brohlin; siblings Jack Walker and wife June; Rosie Amon; Matt Turner and wife Sandy; Jean Kelly and husband Ken; along with 52 grandchildren and great grandchildren spanning 5 generations.
