

She leaves behind four daughters: Ada Christy and husband Charles of Beaumont; Carol Phillips and husband Alan of Canyon; Alice Marroquin of Amarillo; and Bobbi Anderson and husband Steven of Arlington.
She is also survived by nine grandsons—Jeremy Phillips, Alex Christy, Mark Marroquin, Russell Christy, Christopher Christy, Andrew Marroquin, Lucas Anderson, Rylee Anderson, and Adain Anderson—along with three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.
Virginia is survived by three brothers, Don Morris, Eugene Morris, and Richard Morris, all of Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Morris of Yuma, Arizona; a brother-in-law, Preston Williams of Oklahoma City; and fourteen nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Morris; father, Byron Morris; brother, Tom Morris; husband, Jimmy Fitzgerald; and sister, Mary Williams.
Virginia was the first of six children and grew up on a farm in Tuttle, Oklahoma. The family later moved to Moore, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Moore High School in 1962.
She married Floyd Eason in 1962, and together they had three daughters: Ada, Carol, and Alice. They later divorced in 1969.
She was introduced to Jimmy Fitzgerald by her brother, Don, and the two were married in Amarillo on December 15, 1973. Together they had one daughter, Bobbi Anderson. Jimmy and Virginia were married for 43 years before his passing in 2017. She enjoyed traveling and being a Grandma.
