Virginia Longoria, better known as Momma Gina, by her loved ones, departed her beloved family and Wednesday, July 14, 2021 surrounded by all those who held her so dear. Momma Gina was born on September 23, 1930 in Brownsville Texas to Eusebio Gonzalez and Guadalupe Marechelar.
She was mother to Hilario V. Nayola, Abel Longoria, Roy Longoria and Elsa Longoria. Virginia has had a lifetime of joy, love and glorious achievements, but none more rewarding then being a mother, the unconditional love she had for children and grandchildren was the most genuine gift and blessing she could have ever given to her family. A true humanitarian, with a heart of full of compassion and a faith that could move mountains, there was not one thing Momma Gina couldn't do when she put her heart and soul in it. A faithful daughter of Christ and patroness for her wonderful Church, Mama Gina was most definitely the salt of the earth. She had a passion for cooking ,attending Sunday service faithfully and rejoicing in the Lord. Family was everything to her and God at the center of her home and life. Mother, giver, and friend, she will be missed tremendously. Her spirit very much alive in her five grandchildren, Vanessa, Hilario Jr, Benigno, Virginia, and Issac, along with 15 great grandchildren. “Honor her for all that her hands have done” Proverbs 31:31. Momma Gina is survived by eldest Son, Hilario V. Nayola, of New Braunfels, Texas, and Abel and Elsa Longoria, of Amarillo Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; Eusebio Gonzalez and Guadalupe Marechelar Gonzalez, Children; Creselda Longoria, daughter, Brownville Texas, Roy Longoria son, Amarillo Texas, Brothers; Modesto Gonzalez, Brownsville Texas, Ignacio Gonzalez, Brownville Texas, Eusebio Gonzalez Jr. Brownsville Texas, Eliseo Gonzalez, Brownfield, Texas, Sisters; Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez Luebano, Lamesa Texas, Oralia Gonzalez Davilla, Florida, Eva Gonzalez Diaz La Cruz, Hidalgo Tampa, Mexico, Maria de Los Angeles Gonzalez Valdez, Hobbs, New Mexico
