Jay was a great person to work with. He always had kind words and sang as he worked. He left hand written notes for the teachers when he left his position at Lakeview Elementary. I was blessed to have known him. My most sincere condolences go to his family as they grieve such a sweet and genuine man.

To a wonderful family that I love dearly. I am so very sorry for your loss. I have sweet memories of Jay. He was so cute and such a happy little boy. I can see that big smile of his. It was contagious. John and Narcisa, you have blessed this world with wonderful loving and caring children. Heaven's gain is our loss, but we will see him again. I know Jesus will carry you through this. I know you have a close walk with Him because His light shines from within you. May He gather you up and hold you tightly in His loving arms. I love you dear friends.

I worked with Jay at Amarillo High. He had a great heart! He wouldn't hurt a fly and he would take the shirt off his back and give it to you if you truly needed it. He did always have a smile on his face. He was taken too soon and he will be missed. Rest in Peace Jay!

My heart is truly broken today upon hearing about Jay. I helped with religious education at St. Thomas when he was a senior and he was always such a sweet young man. I would see him at Mass and we always greeted each other with a hand shake and a hug, his smile was contagious. Heaven has received a special angel! My sincerest condolences to his family!
