My 'Bruncle Bill' was my mom's only brother. As I was very close to him, I coined the Bruncle moniker as he was always more like a second brother than an uncle.

Bill's energy for life and his love of people will be greatly missed in this life...until we meet again - I love you Bruncle Bill.

(p.s. If you read Debbie Goslin's post, I believe she was referring to an uncle Bill who was on my father's side of the family as William (Bill) Banks did not have any half siblings.

I first met Bill when I visited the States from Bonnie Scotland when I was 16, some 40 years ago. Wow what a guy 😁 both him and Joanne where the kindest most welcoming hosts. From that visit he has been a character ,who was great to be around, unless you didn’t smoke. He was so close to my Mum Ruby, and was a great support when she lost my Dad and sadly my sister Carol who was in Canada. He flew to Canada to support Ruby, I won’t forget that kind gesture. Cuz Cathy and Kim set up a weekly family zoom across the pond months back so we could see and speak to Bill. It is so sad that he has passed. But he has left us with some fond memories. Love from your Cousin clan in Scotland RIP Bill. Maybe gone but not forgotten 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
