Bill was born to William Howard Taft and Theresa Quartz Guyer in Parnassus, Pennsylvania. He married Meda Gerber Guyer on November 23, 1954; Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years. He worked at Pantex for 22 years.
He is survived by two sons Paul Guyer and wife Joani of Amarillo, Charlie Guyer and wife Joanne of San Antonio. Five grandchildren; Brant, Bryce, and Madison Guyer all of Amarillo; and Megan and Matthew Guyer of San Antonio.
