W.P. “Pete” Bingham, 91, of Amarillo, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Pete was born January 8, 1921 in Whon to Rufus and Mary Caroline Bingham. He served his country in the US Army during WWII. Pete worked for and retired from Gifford-Hill Pipe. Pete is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Iva Bingham; second wife, Esther Bingham; four brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by 2 Sons: Tony Bingham of Amarillo, Raymond Bingham of Amarillo; Brother: John Bingham of Stinnett; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
