Betty June Quintana , a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home in Princeton, Texas, on Friday, September 6, 2024. Born in Portland, Oregon, Betty moved to California at a very young age. She worked at Pacific Bell Telephone Company, where she met her husband, Claude, who passed away in 2001. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising their family, camping, vacationing, and dedicating themselves to serving the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Betty was deeply devoted to her family. She was dearly loved by her daughter, Diane Quintana Williams; her son, Gregg Quintana; and her stepdaughter, Claudette Johnston. She was blessed with four grandchildren: Sara and her spouse, Eduardo Navarro; Courtney Pfeiler; Travis and his spouse, Sarah Williams; and Jamie and her spouse, Sean Dean. Her greatest joys were her great-grandchildren: Ezekiel and Lola Navarro, Madison Williams, and Axel, Maddox, and Knox Dean. Betty was actively involved in her community. In addition to her work with the VFW Auxiliary, she was a dedicated PTA member, Girl Scout leader for Diane, and Team Mom for Gregg’s baseball teams. Visitation for Betty will be held on Thursday, October 17th, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and a service celebrating her life will take place on Friday, October 18th, at 11:00 a.m. Both will be held at Funeraria del Angel Anaheim, located at 2425 W. Lincoln Ave, Anaheim, CA 92801. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Betty’s wishes be honored by making donations to the American Cancer Fund or to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Cancer Fund in her honor. Betty June Quintana’s kindness, love, and faith will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
