With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Eddie, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and friend.
Eddie was a man defined by hard work and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. A proud military veteran, he carried the values of service, honor, and dedication throughout his life. Whether serving his country, supporting his family, or lending a helping hand to a neighbor, Eddie believed that actions spoke louder than words.
For nearly 50 years, Eddie shared a beautiful marriage with the love of his life, his beloved wife, Carole. Together they built a family rooted in love, loyalty, laughter, and resilience. He was a proud father to Eddie Jr., Jeremy, Randy and Greg.
Eddie never hesitated to help anyone in need. He was especially known throughout his community for assisting elderly neighbors with repairs, maintenance, and handyman projects. He never sought recognition for these acts of kindness; he simply believed it was the right thing to do. His generosity, steady presence, and willingness to serve others left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Proud of his Chicano roots, Eddie carried his heritage with dignity and pride. He honored the traditions, values, and strength passed down through generations and remained deeply connected to his family and community throughout his life.
Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, we find comfort in imagining Eddie reunited with those who went before him: his beloved sisters, Irene and Grace; his brother, Louis; his mother, Manuela; and his father, Jose. Together again, they welcome him home with open arms.
Eddie’s legacy lives on through the family he cherished, the lives he touched, and the countless acts of kindness he performed without expecting anything in return. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
May he rest in eternal peace.”
