

Edward “Ed” Wagner, 68, of Laguna Woods, passed away June 22, 2012 in San Diego, CA. Ed was born on February 29, 1944 to Stephen and Victoria Wagner, in Washington D.C. He spent his youth in Nazareth, PA before moving to Orange County in 1960. He graduated from Mater Dei High School in 1962. He served in the United States Army from 1965-1967. Soon after his discharge from the Army, he met Margaret “Molly” Milne, and they were married on January 18, 1969. Ed worked as a traffic manager for Ashland Chemical in Los Angeles for over 43 years until his retirement in 2006.
In addition to his wife Molly, Ed is survived by: his five children: Bill of Westminster, CA, Sheila (Tom) Beckendorf of Winter Springs, FL, Debbie of Huntington Beach, CA, Eddie of San Diego, CA, and Chris (Shelby) of Irvine, CA; 4 grandsons: Tommy, James, Jack, and Dean; his mother Victoria of Mira Loma, CA; brothers: Richard (Kathy) of Chino Hills, CA and Stephen (Gail) of Ontario, CA; sisters Stephanie Wagner of Upland, CA and Peggy Fickett of Fontana, CA; Aunt Tessie Magditch of Nazareth, PA, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Viewing and Vigil Service Sunday July 1, 2012 at Pierce Brothers Anaheim Mortuary 5-8pm with Rosary starting at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be Monday, July 2, 2012 at 8:30am at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Cypress, CA. Burial will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 1:45pm at Riverside National Cemetery.
