Frances Flores Chavez

Frances Flores Chavez was born June 4th, 1920 in Downey, Ca. She was the first daughter of Evaristo and Maria Flores. She attended school in Downy and later moved to Fullerton, Ca where she met her future husband Alfredo Chavez, it was love at first site. They began dating as young teenagers and were married at the tender at of 14. They had their first child, Arlene followed three years later by the birth of their second child Julie. Years later Alfredo Jr. was born who lost his young life in a family tragedy. Less than a year later their fourth child Evelyn was born followed four years later by the birth of their fifth child Irene. Frances worked for a short period of time at the local Canary in Buena Park as a supervisor. She ultimately found her calling as a homemaker as she was a loving mother and raised her children with a tender heart and loving arms.

Frances leaves a legacy of 4 daughters, 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was supportive of all these children and helped mold each and every one of them.

Frances is survived by her loving children Arlene, Julie, Evelyn and Irene as well as three sisters, Phyliss, Lupe and Annie.

A visitation will be held on Monday September 19th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel 2425 W. Lincoln Ave, Anaheim, Ca. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 20th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius V Church, 7681 Orangethorpe Ave, Buena Park, Ca. Interment will be held following the services at Loma Vista Memorial Park at 701 E. Bastanchury Rd, Fullerton, Ca
