Guadalupe enjoyed cooking. Making enchiladas was her specialty. She made the best tortillas. She always would call on the phone to her sister to share whatever she made. She adored her birdie; he’s a yellow canary with beautiful song. She named him Dominique. She was known for her strong love to god and the Virgin Mary and she had a statue of Guadalupe in her home.
Guadalupe choose to live close to her beloved sisters Leonor and Sara, so much that they all lived on the same street within footsteps of each other.
She enjoyed spending time with her sisters; they called each other daily and drank their “Yuban” black coffee in their special white cups.
She enjoyed gardening and had a special love for roses. Guadalupe looked forward to “special” outings with Isabel “Chavela” Duarte and enjoyed family gatherings.
She loved her nieces and nephews and remembered them each on their birthdays and holidays. She loved when the kids would come to visit, she always have a treat with either ice cream, candy or wrapped up quarter in silver foil, she was always giving from her heart!
