Hermine Williams passed away, leaving a legacy of deep love, devotion, and family. Born in Volkenschwand, Germany, she was the third of eleven children and held the unique distinction of being the only sibling to emigrate to the United States.
In the early 1960s, Hermine married her beloved husband, Rodney. They began their life together in Sibley, Iowa, where they welcomed their eldest daughter, Michelle. In 1965, the young family moved to Orange, California, where their youngest daughter, Patty, was born. They ultimately settled in Irvine in 1970, the community where they raised their daughters and built a beautiful life.
Hermine’s greatest pride and joy was her family. Over the years, her world blossomed to include two sons-in-law, four grandchildren, a grandson-in-law, and a great-grandchild, all of whom she adored fiercely.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Rodney; her daughter Michelle Diamond (Larry); her daughter Patty Bigley (John); her cherished grandchildren Alexandra Diamond, Blake Diamond, Katelyn Bigley Overstreet (Kyle), Danielle Bigley; and her precious great-grandson, Colter Overstreet. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Hermine’s memorial service was held at the National Cemetery in Riverside on June 1, 2026.
