Luis Casillas, Jr., age 60, was born on November 4, 1965, in Hawthorne, California, and passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, in Anaheim, California.

Luis met the love of his life, Miriam, while they were both working at All-American Home Center in Downey. Their shared dedication and connection grew into a lifelong partnership, and they were married in 1997 at St. Vincent De Paul in Los Angeles.
A hardworking and dedicated man, Luis spent 26 years at All-American Home Center and an additional 15 years with South Coastal Distribution. He was known for his incredible ability to fix anything—whether it was tiling floors, painting walls, repairing pipes, or tackling any challenge that came his way. Working with his hands brought him immense pride and fulfillment, and his talents never went unnoticed or unappreciated.
Luis was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his beloved wife, Miriam Casillas, and his two sons, Jacob Casillas and Joshua Casillas, who were the center of his world. He also shared his life with four cherished dogs—Daisy, Bandit, Mookie, and Koda—each of whom brought him great joy.
He will always be remembered for his selflessness, his boundless love, and the deep care he showed to everyone around him. Luis cherished every moment spent with family and friends, understanding how precious time truly is. His unforgettable laugh—loud, genuine, and full of life—had a way of catching you off guard and instantly bringing joy to those around him.
Luis was a passionate and devoted Los Angeles Dodgers fan. His love for the team went far beyond fandom—he lived and breathed Dodger Blue. He enjoyed attending games and collecting bobbleheads, proudly displaying them in his man cave as treasured reminders of special memories. He also loved taking photos, capturing moments with loved ones so they could be remembered forever.
If Luis could be described in four words, they would be: Passionate, Respectful, Kind, and True.
