Mary Elizabeth Daly

Betty received her bachelor’s degree in 1947 from Mt. St. Joseph College in Cincinnati, Ohio. On September 13, 1947, Betty married her beloved husband, Ralph. They had 5 children: Bob, the oldest, was followed by Mike, Kay, Tim, and Ruth. They gave Betty 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, and she knew all their names and birthdates.

Betty’s life-long vocation was teaching of young children, which she continued to do until she was 80 years old. She loved to teach the little ones how to read and about the magical world of books.

Her positive attitude and endless enthusiasm have gained her many friends throughout the years. She and her friends spent many happy hours together discussing books, playing bingo, taking walks, and enjoying their many parties and social events.

Betty will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends.
