Paul Patrick Uyanga

Paul Patrick Uyanga, who left this world to be with the Lord on January 27, 2025, at the age of 63. Paul was born on November 15, 1961, in Nigeria, and his life was marked by his warmth, kindness, and joy.

Paul graduated from James Monroe High School with the Class of 1981.

Over the years, he built a life full of love, laughter, and memorable moments. He spent 22 years with Myrna Iballa, whom he met through a blind date set up by a mutual friend. Together, they raised Janine Anne Uyanga, and Paul Jerome Uyanga. Paul’s love for his children knew no bounds, and his role as a devoted father was a source of pride and joy for him.

Paul was a man who radiated positivity. He had a silly personality and a bright smile that could light up any room. He always maintained an optimistic outlook, no matter the circumstances. His friendly demeanor and cheerful nature made him a beloved friend to many, and his sense of humor brought joy to everyone he met. Paul’s interests included dancing, playing poker, and cheering on the Los Angeles Lakers. He was a confident and loving man, always ready to offer kindness and laughter to those around him.

His father, Patrick Jerome Uyanga, his mother, Alice Nene Diego, and his sister, Christina Udokang Uyanga, precede Paul in death. He leaves behind partner, Myrna Iballa, his children, as well as a host of family and friends who will miss him deeply. In honoring his memory, we remember Paul for his bright smile, his infectious laugh, and the joy he brought to everyone’s life. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Paul will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Anaheim, 2425 West Lincoln Ave, Anaheim, CA 92801. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 7691 Orangethorpe Ave, Buena Park, CA 90621. A committal service will occur Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 2:00 PM at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA 92518
