Raymond Alvarez Born in Hollister, CA on August 2nd, 1932, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and veteran of the Air-Force Raymond Alvarez passed away May 4, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Conchita Alvarez; his three sons, Alfred, Gabriel (wife Sherie) and Vincent (wife Jenny); and his three grandchildren, Joshua, Melissa and
Elijah. He also leaves behind countless friends and relatives whose lives have been forever enriched by his presence. Raymond was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the Korean War. He was a strong man who had a generous heart, he deeply loved his country, and was devoted to his family. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten by the lives he has touched. Visitation and vigil will be held at Pierce Brother's Funeral Home, Anaheim on Thursday, May 17th from 5-8pm. Funeral mass at Saint Irenaeus Catholic Church, Cypress on Friday May 18th at 8:30am. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cypress following mass.
