

Robert Francis Gray Junior, age 52, passed away suddenly on March 10th in Irvine, CA. Robert was the beloved son of Robert and the late Adelaide (Cullen) Gray. Robert was born in Dublin, Ireland and grew up in Danbury, CT graduated St. Joseph School and Immaculate High School. He went on to obtain a degree in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton. Robert also attended Western Sate University College of Law in Fullerton, CA before settling in California, where he worked in finance for most of his life.
During his life, Robert had the privilege of traveling throughout the world. He was an avid golfer and had a passion for giving to others. Robert was most proud of nieces Kathleen Sharnick, Kaela and Gillian Milewski and nephews Stephen and Brian Sharnick and Liam Milewski and Arielle Carpentier. Robert took great pride in their achievements and found joy in following their activities.
Robert will be remembered for his extreme generosity in supporting the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, the Irish Dance Teacher’s Association of North America and many other institutions. Robert took great pride in all that he did. He was a true and loving friend and has left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate to know him.
Robert is survived by his father Robert, brother Brian Gray, sisters Iris Gray Sharnick and husband Stephen Sharnick, Maura Gray and husband William Milewski and long time companion Lisa Carpentier, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the world.

A Rosary service will be held at Servite High School Chapel, 1952 West La Palma Ave. Anaheim, CA 92801 on Friday March 16th at 7pm (Park in the main parking lot and follow signs to the chapel) and a Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday March 20th at 10am at St. Joseph’s Church, Main Street in Danbury, CT
